Where do I start they say always start from the beginning but I'm not going to im going to start with this (Poke tongue out at grandad), a lot of you won't know what that meant but its the last joke I will carry forever until I see you again, I have a little poem prepared but i'd like everyone to think of a memory with Grandad and picture it while I read my poem.

The day you left & gained your wings
My heart just broke in two 
I wish you could of stayed with us 
But heaven needed you 
You left me with the memories 
that i needed to help me through
Nan saw you getting tired & 
a cure was not to be,
So she put her arms around 
you & whispered come
with me.
With tears in my eyes I 
watched you, You poked 
your tongue out, we saw you
pass away & although we love 
you dearly we know you could
not stay.
The memories you have left us 
with will be our
forever keepsake, which we 
will never part with.

I've just got a little bit left. I won't go on for ages & ages just like my Grandad used to. If you got caught you know what I mean but if you didn't then you were either sneaky or grandad was in his sheds, most probably tinkering or actually building lol. Grandad, paradise up there is already pretty good, so not too much building needs doing. It’s been the hardest thing to lose you, you mean the absolute world to me & everyone but you are in our hearts now Grandad and that's where you’ll always stay, I know that heaven called you but I know more that nan called you home to be with her. We all wished you could stay but at least we all have our memories of you & they will never fade. Like my poem said, a part of me went with you the day you left. So just remember we're never apart, It’s time for you to rest in peace and sleep tight. We love you so very much Grandad & miss you just the same so its not good bye its see you later.
